In its history, the aviation industry has suffered from major runway collisions. In partnership with avionics supplier Honeywell, AIRBUS is paving the way for developing a safety net preventing runway collision. This is Surface-Alert or SURF-A function.
SURF-A is an ultimate safety net when all the previous barriers were inefficient to prevent runway incursion.
Here is the work on the video presentation of the project.
First step was to write the script and make the decision about the flow of the video. Then, with Kevin Geffroy, we created the storyboard of the video in order to start filming.
The video is a mix between real footages and illustrations.
Annabelle Straforini did the illustrations and I animated them.
After all the previous steps, I edited the video, found music, made motion design, adapted the colors to finally reach to this result.
